I have had my issues with them in the past. Since Chief Roberts has taken over I must say she has done an amazing job. I fully support Westbrook Police Department
A few yrs ago ,a male police officer drove my friend and her son to his school to make sure he got there safely and came to her address every time she needed them. Also,they have been there every time my neighbors have needed them and promptly. They help a lot in community events to make sure everyone is safe via crowds ,traffic ,parades etc. They help in community service outside of their job. They are kind to children. They talk to people like they are equal and not like the cops are above them in status. I had a question about something and the blonde female officer I had was super approachable and took time to answer my question. The only con I can think of is I wish there was a traffic light by dunkin donuts and that something more was done about the traffic violations,road rage and drivers verbally abusing cyclists and pedestrians on main street Cumberland Farm to CVS. Also drivers are driving into cross walks and from side streets without stopping for pedestrians .

The most unprofessional police department. They should be ashamed to show their faces. Don't ever call them for help they do not care about you especially when you are in need. The disrespect just blew my mind. If I ever pulled what your worthless officer just pulled as a professional I would be in big trouble. You notice how I characterized your cops as unprofessional. It has to stop with you idiots.
I haven't been in Westbrook long, but I've lived several other states. I feel like the officers in Westbrook care about the town and it's prople. I'm very impressed! Thank you
